About me
Hello, I am a textile design graduate
manifesto
Elin Griffiths is a woven textile designer, with key aspirations within the interior market. She has a strong passion for weaving with huge enjoyment for technical processes including jacquard, ikat, double cloth and CAD designs.
Her most recent collection for her final major project at university "Contrasting Cultures" is a collection inspired by a recent trip to Japan. It aims to express traditional and futuristic Japanese elements using hand-woven and digitally woven designs with various textures and patterns. The collection will be fit for an interior application.
Paul Vogel's live brief gave me insight into industry skills and requirements. I hope to advance my career in textiles and secure a relevant design position in the industry to develop my skills and knowledge.
